We desire to bridge the Gospel to our communities.

We have increasingly felt God calling us to better reach and meet the needs of our growing/changing community. After a period of much prayer and discussion, members of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church, along with 1027 Church of Toco Hills, decided to relaunch as Bridgepoint Church at Toco Hills in February of 2018. We are excited to see where God leads us and hope you will come join us in this journey.

What is the Gospel?

The Gospel is the good news of unity and forgiveness available to all regardless of lineage, education, wealth, or skin color. Jesus made a way for us to to reconciled once again to our Creator. A recurring theme through the Bible is that God desires to dwell with man, but there was a problem of Sin and brokenness. Jesus is the answer. Those that follow Jesus are called Christians, after being called little Christs in Antioch. And for those that call themselves Christians, the bar was set high. Jesus laid out two commandments that serve as our “marching orders”. The first is the commonly called the Great Commandment.

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Matthew 22:37-39, NIV).

Then built on the foundation of the Great Commandment is the Great Commission.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20, NIV).

So Who We Are, is kind of what drives us. We are a group of normal people that intend to share the message of the Gospel by serving our communities love!

What We Believe

We are Gospel-Centered

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. This means we use the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible as our foundation for everything we do. We honor and worship God in what we say, do, and think. We share the Gospel with others.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16

We are Community-Minded

Being Gospel-centered does not mean we live in isolation. God designed us to be in community with others. We love one another and love being in fellowship with others through worship, community groups, events, and service.

We are Disciple-Making

We believe disciple-making is a sign of a Gospel-centered life. We support each other, but also challenge each other to grow in our faith and hold each other accountable through transparency, love, truth, and integrity. We do this through a comprehensive disciple-making process that includes family, group and one-on-one disciple-making opportunities.

We are Mission-Oriented

In response to the Gospel in our lives, we share the Gospel with our local community. We have increasingly felt God calling us to better reach and meet the needs of our growing and changing community. We desire to serve the people in our communities and their organizations. We also support wider missions in the state, country, and internationally.

We live out the example of love seen in I John 3:18: “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (NIV).
