Sunday Bible Study Offerings:  9:30 a.m. Our Bible Study classes give us the opportunity to get to know each other better, study the Bible,  discuss its application to our lives, and minister to each other and the community. The Dorcas Class is a Bible Study for ladies loving the second half-century of their lives. Through mid-October we will be exploring “1 John” and the firm foundation of God’s invisible Character: love, forgiveness, truth, relationship, etc. From mid-October to the end of November our studies turn to Genesis and  “Walking in Confidence” during uncertain times as illustrated by the life of Abraham. Room:  Dorcas Rm                                Teacher:  Maria Gosa   The Joyful/Friends in Faith Class would love for you to join us in our current study of Exodus, titled “God Delivers His Covenant People.”  Exodus tells the exciting story of how God delivered His people from the cruel bondage of Egyptian slavery to redemption and freedom.  We are currently at chapter 9, in the middle of the 10 plagues.  The drama increases in intensity with each chapter, and we are still early in our study.  Ours is a coed adult class open to anyone and meets at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Steve Powell   The Guest Teacher Series Bible Study theme is  “Forging a Real World Faith in Changing Times.” This series will draw insights into forging a real world faith for living in our changing times from biblical persons and who lived in changing times. There will also be studies in biblical leadership and a historical understanding of what happened between the testaments…between Malachi and the coming of Christ.  The series features guest teachers from our church family who will facilitate each week’s sessions.
